We woke up today thinking of Lisa and Randy and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take care of each other and be assured that Heavenly Father loves you very much. Major had a much better day today. He woke up with his leg feeling better, visit with Dr. went well, no problems detected and treatment #27 completed with no problems. Actually we are feeling really really lucky. I think I mentioned once before that there are 2 treatment rooms for prostate cancer, #3 and #4. Major is always in #3. Well the machines in #4 went down today and never did come back up. All those guys who get their treatments in #4 are now behind by one day, which is one thing we have been hoping doesn't ever happen to us. #3 went down the day before we started his treatments and hasn't been down since. Like I've said before, cross your fingers!!! We made one more trip to Kemah Boardwalk today, this time in the afternoon, hoping the Pelicans would be there, diving for fish. They were, we had the battery on the camera charged up and the pictures all turned out great. There are actually 3 different types of birds, the pelicans, seagulls and a really small white bird, which we are trying to find out what it's called. The pelicans and the small white bird nose dive into the water and come up with fish, but the seagulls go down, very close to the water and I thought they were just getting their feet wet. Not so. They catch the fish with their feet! Major actually got a picture of that, we think. He is, as I am typing this, looking for that picture so I can post it and show it to you. The tiny white bird always makes a big splash as it nose dives and comes up with small silver fish. We have a picture of that too. Hopefully he can find the best ones and I'll get them up as soon as he gets them for me. It was very hot and very humid so we came back exhausted but glad to get the pictures he has been hoping to get before we leave. Be home soon. Love you all.
